IAMFT Diversity Workshop

Culturally informed healers are key to providing the ethical and responsible therapy clients deserve. The recent murders of George Floyd, Breanna Taylor, Layleen Polanco, and numerous others has raised awareness about the necessity to have race-based conversations with clients. Yet many therapists have difficulty raising issues of power and privilege in the therapy room. The goal of this workshop is to provide family therapists with tools to develop interventions that promote healing in the lives of clients.

The workshop will be held via Zoom (information to join is below) on July 22nd from 10:30am to 12pm. This workshop is free to all who wish to attend and is open to all therapists, regardless of experience. CEUs will be available upon request (please contact IAMFTOffice@gmail.com for more information on CEUs for this workshop).
